Hi, my name is Seth Carlson and I’m a journalism major at San Diego State University. While I’m still unsure about my future career aspirations, I aspire to play tennis professionally. Ideally, I’d love to channel what I learn at SDSU into a post-tennis career in sports media or another endeavor that expands into other passions such as basketball. Besides simply passing, I hope JMS 430 teaches me how to use the tools of digital journalism in the real world. Regardless of where my professional future takes me, I’d love to apply the skills I learn in this class to real-life situations.
